Selected for the Cannes Film Festival, this first feature focuses on an idealistic motorcycle cop in the American southwest, who sees a chance to fulfill his dream of being a detective when he discovers a murder. Guercio wrote the soundtrack for the film and directed it. Robert Blake gives another powerful, intricate performance in this controversial and beautifully photographed work.
