After bringing innovations into the music and recording industries, James Guercio enters the world of film with Electra Glide in Blue. Selected for the Cannes Film Festival, this first feature focuses on an idealistic motorcycle cop in the American southwest, who sees a chance to fulfill his dream of being a detective when he discovers a murder. Guercio wrote the soundtrack for the film and directed it. Robert Blake gives another powerful, intricate performance in this controversial and beautifully photographed work.
