The Glass Cage

A 20-year-old girl shoots and kills a midnight prowler as he attempts to gain entrance to her apartment. The police arrive and except for the uneasiness of one of the detectives, the case is dismissed as justifiable homicide. The young detective, spurred by an interest in the girl, proceeds with his investigation, uncovering a grotesque, suspense-filled story, the crux of which relates to the delicate line between human sanity and insanity. The first film of young director Antonio Santean, the suspense builds through storyline and carefully interposed special photographic effects to an unusual climax.
