Warren Lockhart and John Korty attended; doc subjects Robert and Dorothy deBolt also attended with several of their kids.Dorothy and Robert DeBolt of Piedmont, California and their 19 children are the subject of this inspiring, joyful documentary by award-winning director John Korty. The DeBolt family encompasses many races, nationalities, ages and handicaps, but what they all share is mutual trust, respect and, most of all, a deep love for one another and for life. The film lets us participate in their lives, both on ordinary days and on special occasions, and one comes to know these people and how they manage to keep a group of 19 functioning from day to day. Who Are the DeBolts is one of the happiest and most moving documentary features ever to be presented in the Festival.
