Who Is Killing the Great Chefs of Europe?

As a fast-food entrepreneur chases his gourmet cook ex-wife across the continent, the great chefs of Europe begin turning up dead, each killed in the manner of his specialty. The couple must solve the crimes before she, an expert in desserts, becomes the next victim. This is the premise for the romantic comedy-mystery starring George Segal and Jacqueline Bisset which opens this year’s Film Festival on a high note. Director Ted Kotcheff follows his success with Fun with Dick and Jane with a delicious combination of broad and sophisticated comedy, seasoned with suspense and a wonderful supporting performance by Robert Morley as the editor of a gourmet magazine.
